We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team. This hybrid role will be responsible for both cost estimation during the tendering stage and cost management throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost control, tendering, and budgeting, and be comfortable working across multiple project phases.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for fit-out and construction projects.

· Perform quantity take-offs and rate build-ups during the tendering stage.

· Manage procurement and tendering of subcontract works, including analysis and negotiation.

· Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within budget.

· Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims and variations.

· Prepare and manage Subcontracts, ensuring compliance with project terms and scope.

· Provide cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial updates to the project team.

· Support the project team in value engineering and risk management.

· Maintain accurate records of project cost documentation and contractual correspondence.

· Liaise with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure commercial alignment.

· Contribute to final account preparation and project close-out.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying and/or estimating for fit-out and construction projects, preferably with a main contractor.

· Strong understanding of local market rates, construction methods, and contract conditions.

· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and preferably PlanSwift or similar take-off software.

· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
